About Department

         With the establishment of the college in 1991 the subject Marathi has been introduced. There is only one qualified faculty with M. Phil and Ph. D. serving in the college since 1993: This subject is of great importance as far as the competitive examinations and literary awareness are concerned. There is more weightage to Marathi in civil service examination. So many students prefer to study this subject. This department arranges study tour, seminars as its regular activity. Marathi is the mirror of past culture and literature of the country which directs the future way to that country.
